LITIG Charity Bike Ride
Litig are supporting 6 of its members who are taking part in a charity cycling event on Sunday 28 April 2019.
The team will join more than 5,000 competitors in Inverness, and follow a 106km (66 mile) route around Loch Ness which includes a 9km climb gaining 380m.
It’s fair to say that it’s a mixed ability group(!) and is made up of Stuart Whittle (Weightmans), David Aird (DAC Beachcroft), John Craske (CMS Cameron McKenna), Keith Feeny (Hill Dickinson), David Wood (Watson Farley Williams) and Andy Taylor (Clarke Willmott).
None are expecting to challenge the leaders (last years winner completed the event in 2 hours 48 minutes at an average of 23mph!), but all will be aiming to finish within the 5½ hour time limit.
The team will be resplendent in shirts sponsored by Litig, and will be fundraising in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. They are all training hard, so any donations will be gratefully received and will be a great incentive as they pedal their way through those cold and dark winter training rides! https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/litig.
Good luck Team Litig!
